Beautiful landscape surrounds Azad Kashmir, making it one of its most beautiful tourism points. Kashmir - A Heaven on Earth

Many people consider Azad Kashmir a little version of heaven on Earth. The first time you see the valleys, you'll be unable to look away. It's a must-see for tourists because of the abundance of canals, lakes, and animals. It's a great place to visit for various reasons, including breathtaking landscapes, rushing rivers, awe-inspiring lakes, and an abundance of animals. The mountains in this area reach their maximum height. When it comes to planning your next holiday, do you find yourself at a loss? It should prioritize Pakistan's most popular tourist destinations more than Europe's.

Neelum Valley

Even though Neelum Valley is not located at any of Kashmir Valley's beginning points, I used it as a jumping-off point to begin my exploration of all the areas in Azad Kashmir that are worth seeing. Neelum Valley is one of the most beautiful places in Azad Kashmir to visit, and being able to do so helped to renew my mind and wash away the weariness caused by the travel.

This enchanted spot, which is located smack dab in Azad Kashmir, is certain to fill your spirit with joy and set it at ease. The breathtaking scenery among places in Azad Kashmir to visit is made even more stunning by the presence of the verdant valley. The valley extends over the surrounding landscape for 144 kilometers in total length. Lakes, hiking routes, and mountain passes are just some of the natural features of the Neelum Valley, which is also home to several more miniature cities and suburban regions.

An upper Neelum town named Kutton

If one of my friends hadn't insisted that I go to the town of Kutton, I probably wouldn't know that I was heading to the spot in Azad Kashmir that has the most acceptable attraction space among the places in Azad Kashmir to visit. My research made me feel that a trip to Azad Kashmir isn't complete until it includes a stop at Kutton Upper Neelum.

Because of its awe-inspiring landscapes and winding streams, it is a well-liked vacation spot among places in Azad Kashmir to visit for outdoor lovers and those interested in conservation. The Tourism Department of Azad Kashmir has built a resthouse to provide for the needs of passing passengers more effectively.

A lake in the mountains named Ratti Gali

Following my time in Neelum Valley and the village of Kutton, I went to Ratti Gali lake and had a pleasant time there. The Ratti Gali Lake is one of the most well-known lakes in the Neelum Valley region, but I didn't have the chance to go there until after I had spent a whole day in Kutton.  I have kept the picturesque image of Ratti Gali, which is located at an elevation of around 12,130 meters and has a glacier that feeds the lake, in my thoughts, and I have thought back on that vista many times.

The mountains surrounded by the lake are also quite tall and very large. The picturesque village of Dowarian, which is situated in the Neelum Valley, serves as a gateway to the Ratti Gali Lake. This part of Kashmir is just stunning.

The Leepa Valley

On the fourth day of my journey across Kashmir, I arrived at the Leepa valley. I was so worn out that I had intended to take some time off and explore the neighborhood the next day, but I could not do either of those things. I could scarcely remain in the lodge for more than two hours. There is no question that Azad Kashmir's Leepa Valley is home to some of the most breathtaking scenery in the whole area. The months of May through November are considered to have weather suitable for tourists to visit throughout those months.

The region is encircled on all sides by tall mountains and deep forests filled with pine trees. After traversing Reshian, you will likely be able to hire a local vehicle to take you to Leepa Valley. Muzaffarabad is the city that is most conveniently located nearby. I have no choice but to admit that Leepa Valley has won my heart.

Banjosa Lake

It's not like I'd never heard of Banjosa Lake before, but I didn't know much about it either. I had several occasions to hear about it. However, it seemed like I was in another universe when I went there. The lake at Banjosa had a peculiar appeal for me. The location is encircled by thick flora, which offers the senses the pleasure of taking in a calm and peaceful environment. As a place of interest for tourists, the picturesque riverbank setting with its towering trees is sure to please. The months of summer, when the weather is often pleasant, and the months of winter, when there is typically a lot of snow, are the best times to travel to this particular place.

Fort Ramkort

My travels through the Kashmir valley, which are tinged with a little bit of history, managed to catch me off guard. The presence of the Jehlum River, which ringed the whole region, provided a vista that was picturesque enough. The architectural style of current Muslim fortifications serves as an excellent example in the case of Ramkot Fort.

The fort was built somewhere between the 5th and 9th centuries, and it wasn't until the 17th century that Muslim armies found it and took control of it. It is the place to go if you want to see Pakistan daringly and beautifully, which is precisely what you will find here. This location has a special place in my heart.

Toli Pir Town

With all of its beautiful scenery all around, this place makes me feel like a part of the royal family. During my time as a student, I had the opportunity to go to the region of TOLI PIR in Pakistan, which is home to several well-known places in Azad Kashmir to visit. Even though the location has not changed, it continues to be stunning.

The mountain of Toli Pir is a well-known destination for vacationers; you may find it on the route that leads to Rawalakot. When you reach the highest point of Azad Kashmir, which is located at a height of 2,600 meters, you will know that you have arrived. Because of its elevation, this location is at its most comfortable temperature during the spring; it may be rather frigid during the other seasons.

The Sharda

If you are going to be in Azad Kashmir's Neelum Valley, you shouldn't pass up the opportunity to visit Sharda. I was about to do the same thing, and I'm sure I'll be sorry if I do. The Sharda, which can be found in the Neelum Valley, is often regarded as the region's most picturesque hamlet.  The remnants of a Goddess Sharada Perth synagogue that was destroyed are the reason for the area's widespread notoriety. The moment the light breaks over the horizon and illuminates the river in the morning, the surrounding landscape is completely changed into a picture-perfect scene. This tiny little hamlet is transformed into a picturesque winter paradise during the colder months.

In the Valley of the Jehlum

I was in the twilight of my two-week excursion when I reached the valley of Jhelum. During the summer months, Jhelum Valley is a renowned tourist attraction among famous places in Azad Kashmir to visit that attracts visitors from all over the world, including those from my home country of Pakistan.

My friends insisted that I go there. The most attractive feature for tourists is the presence of winding rivers that run in the opposite direction of the surrounding mountains, from east to west. Leepa Valley in Jhelum is a destination that history enthusiasts and those who like nature equally should not miss. This area is home to some of the tastiest and most well-known cherries globally.

A Red Fort

My journey ended when I reached Red Fort, which is widely considered to be one of the most iconic forts in Pakistan. If it comes to learning about the area's history, this fort is an excellent place to begin, even though I ended myself there after traveling to Azad Kashmir. In addition to that, it is a magnificent work of art.  It's also known as Muzaffarabadfort in certain circles.
